In the official release, the Tōkaidō Line descending (Tokyo-Shinagawa), the Chou Line Rapid train up (Takao-Hachioji), and the Onto Line descending (Matsumoto-Azusa Bridge) are based on the basic packs that can drive three short-distance routes. There are three types of DLC Tōkaidō Line descent (Tokyo-Atami), Chou Line Rapid Trains (Takao-Tokyo), and Onto Line descending (Matsumoto-Minami Botany) are available.

With the transition to the official version, the Karin Took Line and Machine Line, which are currently underway, will not be able to play. Early access purchasers can obtain basic packs with a free update since the launch of November 15.

The official version of JR East Train Simulator will be released on STEAM on November 15. The price is 2,980 yen for the basic pack, 3,980 yen for the DLC Tōkaidō Line, 2,980 yen for the DLC Chou Line, and 2,980 yen for DLC Onto Line. In addition, the Karin Took Line and Machine Line can be played until the official version, and the early access version that can be updated to the basic pack is on sale for 980 yen.
