DE-Charts: The 20 best-selling games in July

The association of the German Games industry provided current market data on Thursday. This we have learned which video games have best sold in the past month. Only the retail sales were considered.

Accordingly, it is no surprise that Nintendo dominates the monthly charts: 13 of 20 games come from the Japanese video game company. Among them is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD published in the last month and conquered the top spot.

In second place we have another newcomer with F1 2021. Formula 1 is also very popular in Germany, which is why the racing simulation of Electronic Arts may be happy about the silver medal.

The third place goes to the Arcade racing game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which was previously found every month of this year in the top 5. Behind it is FIFA 21, while we see the Sandbox title Minecraft from Microsoft on the fifth place.

Sony Interactive Entertainment is represented at least two in-house productions. The PS5 exclusive title Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which was in second place last month, can continue to assert itself in the top 10. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for PS5 and PS4 busy rank 15. Thus, both titles come from Insomniac Games.

Apart from Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft, two publishers are represented each with one game. Place 13 goes to Assassin's Creed Valhalla by Ubisoft. The 14th place is occupied by Rockstars permanent burner Grand Theft Auto V.
