Take-Two head criticizes the games one at Game Pass
As is already known, during these last months Xbox has implemented the premieres of day one on the Game Pass platform, this for productions of the own Microsoft but also with some third-party games. In relation to this, the CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Selznick, has criticized how to distribute titles, thus preferring to PS plus.
For a while now, CEO commented that he did not see any meaning to this business, since the copies that were priced at $60 USD (now 70) would totally lose the value when playing on a platform that It offers games for lower price. This position continues to keep it today, because in the long run the long productions will not be paid.
Here are your statements:
I think that the second area of skepticism was whether it made sense, and this is a rhetorical question because I think the answer is no, offer first-line titles with titles in a subscription service makes sense.
I still don't think makes sense. And I think it is now becoming obvious that it makes no sense. It is just a lost opportunity for the editor. So, I would not like to talk to my friend, Phil. [Spencer], but our opinions remain unchanged.
Here is another comment with the subscription service:
There is probably a subscription business. It is a catalog business. It is probably better aimed at very avid consumers because those are consumers who are interested in reproducing catalog titles, which implies a lot of different titles in a given month. But I do not think it is a mass market service that supplies the interactive entertainment business as we know it. And I don't think there is any evidence from the contrary so far.

Editor's note: It is true that today Xbox subscriptions have decreased, but still fans are excited to receive great titles when renting the membership. With this, it could be said that the games published by the company would not reach Game Pass, at least of premiere.
