Bayer Leverkusen wants to hold Diaby and Wirtz
Bayer Leverkusen's Rolfess director Simon Rolfes hopes for a longer-term whereabouts of the French national player Moussa Diaby. "Yes, of course we want to hold the players together," said Rolfes on Saturday at "Sky" before the game at FC Bayern. "If that goes on eternal time... it's clear that we'll sell someone too." Diaby recently showed strong services with seven backrests in the football league and therefore applies in this transfer summer as a similarly soughtter player as the 18-year-old Florian Wirtz. "He simply takes an incredible development and is getting better and better," said Rolfes about the German international. "We are very happy to have Florian. He is now - with his 18 years - a key player." Wirtz 'contract in Leverkusen runs until 2026, which is from Diaby to 2025.
