Always alive, still standing, Vampire: The Masquerade

In an interview with the Swedish financial media Nyhetsbyrån Signkt, the CEO of Paradox Interactive Fredrik Wester explained that the vampire setbacks: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 had failed to cancel the project. He would now be again on good rails.

For the record, Paradox Interactive had decided last February to push back for the second time Vampire: The Masquerad - Bloodlines 2 in less than six months and remove the project from the Hardsuit Labs studios. The project had previously lost several of its heads. When we removed the game from the original developer, we proceeded to a long assessment, to find out if we had to put an end to its development or continue it. At its end, we were in truth prepared to cancel The production , explained Wester.

But that was before the providential arrival of a new orientation, which one can understand between the lines it was proposed by the new studio at the orders of Bloodlines 2 : We received a pitch What we estimated sufficiently convincing to continue. And we now have strong hope that it will be a good game, up to the expectations of the players .

The name of this famous studio has still not been revealed, Wester simply stating that it was a reputed and talented team. The CEO of Paradox then clarified that future projects of the Swedish publisher on RPG would be conditioned on the success of it. A sacred load on the shoulders of a game already rugged.
