Seven independent studios team up to form the interactive Kepler publisher

Seven independent studios from all over the world have announced that they have joined forces to create Kepler Interactive, a brand new world publisher. Supported by a fundraising of more than 100 million euros, the group consists of A44 studios (New Zealand), Alpha Channel (Canada), EBB Software (Serbia), Shapefarm (Japan), Timberline (United States ), Sloclap (France) and Awaceb (France).
According to the statement, Kepler Interactive is based on a unique model in which the founders of the studios become shareholders of the group, which allows them to remain connected to the strategic decisions. This model creates an ideal environment offering operational and financial support, which is usually only accessible only studios belonging to large groups, while preserving a total creative independence , we are told. At the head of Kepler Interactive, however, is not the patterns of studios but the French Alexis Garavaryan, already founder and leader of the Kowloon Nights Investment Fund, who also experienced strategic positions at Tencent, Xbox and Ubisoft.
